I've MOVED!

Back in 2006, when i first joined BB

I went for a Rest and Relax Camp at Bkt Tinggi

whereby Sir Loh, our OIC asked all of us to pen down a Time Capsule, stating some resolutions.

And today, after a lapse of close to two years

we all opened it

And here I am to share this with all of you

In 6 months

To be able to master the snares and the quad drums
To get a recruit into BB2SJ (2nd Subang Jaya Company)
To be able to improve my piano playing variations
Help Julian, my good friend, to achieve his grades in PMR
Perform my duty well as an Asst. Head Prefect & as a child

In 1 year

To start a small home tuition group
To share the gospel to non-christians
Get good grades for SPM
Pick up 2 new instruments and play it during worship (drums/guitar)

In 5 years

To be discharged as an NCO and return back to BB2SJ to serve as an officer
Pass and qualify into university

Question: What God would want me to acheive?

To grow up with him in me
To share the gospel
To teach and pass on the baton of all my skills and talents to the younger ones
To never ever let Him go
Serve him with a willing heart

Well, I'm proud to say that I've achieved 70% of what I wrote!!

And now here I am asked by Capt. T.T to do a short testimony on how BB has changed my life to be published in our church bulletin!

I mean it's just amazing to see how God has worked wonders in me through BB..

And I would like to take this time to just thank all my officers, my NCO Council and especially a special someone, LCpl Grace Tan for pushing me and supporting me all the way to go this far in BB

Here's what i've been doing for the past two months:

1. Working at Lt. K's home office doing filing, data entry, more of clerical work together with Boys Brigade matters

2. Weeding together with Ka Kit at Lt. K's house

3. Starting next Tuesday, working for Canon at Standard Chartered Bank, State PJ

4. At night, working at My Elephant, a restaurant by Mr. P

Work work work, yes i know

But hey, i think i'll earn RM6k within this 4 months? =P

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness.

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each an do every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.

spend the time after school to fix my phone today because of an sms problem..

well i'll just highlight some interesting things la =P

^ dad drew a map for me

met Kei Kei on the bus ride down to Central Market, rushing for tuition cuz she had a basketball tournament

^ i hate the air of KL, polluted like crazy~

never knew how much i missed out on being dependant on parents too much

lesson learnt today : start being independant !

well, on the way there a foreigner asked me wher was TFM College, i said i dunno, im sry and just walked off ..

oops a blunder there, i think he couldnt hear me and he gave me a "look" =\

^ familiar ? xD

^ chinatown lo.. =P

i should also be more sociable, since becoming a prefect, i always seclude myself and there went my high school years. alot of things meant to be learnt, i din learn..

^ thank god this kind of jams dont reli appear much in PJ

well, once i reached Sungei Wang plaza, took me close to an hour to get there, left school at 2.30pm

the phone shop tested my phone and found out that the phone had no problem! =.= ishhh

it was maxis' networking problem that interefered with my sms-ing

soo they told me to go to Maxis Centre upstairs, to my dismay they said call the Maxis Hotline!!

conclusion: i one whole day go out = sai hei already ...

on the way home, i met Mr Nanda, my tuition teacher, who wanted to buy "House" at Petaling Street... xD

before boarding the bus, i saw a blind lady trying to board bus 12, i wasnt sure that she was blind, dumb of me not to think, "hey, why would a lady be carrying a white stick and moving it aruond?!

on the way home, was thinkking about a book i read at MPH while awaiting my dad's call.. it was talking about things like, DONT go to university! Compare urself with a graduate at 23 years, and if u started work since 18 years. Learn from the University of Life!

shall be talking to an adult about this in the future..

on the way back home, i also saw YMCA and then i clocked home at 6.30pm!

that ends my day of plain sightseeing and reflecting..

Whoohoo ! I'm back ! Managed to go for Good Charlotte eventho didnt intend to go at first. Thanks for the Tickets Sonul !

Currently getting into the songs by them, but the more contemporary ones namely Hold On, really good meaning in it.

The crowd was really siao. It'll be like a never ending journey just trying to exit in the middle of the concert.

We were typically like an ant colony, filled to the brim. And imagine, they were selling 7-Up, Coke and the like for RM5 !

Jason Lo ain't bad. Old Newspaper and Malaysian Invasian were songs i generally enjoyed jumping to. Malaysian Invasian was written for the Merdeka Celebration.

Wait awhile longer and it'll be on Malaysian radios already.

Help College Debate

Me took part in this debate competition due to interest in debating. xD

Held by HELP College on the 19th of April 2007

My team consisted of : From left, Mrs Jancie, Nanda, Myself, Hafez & Sonuljit (not in pic)

I enjoyed myself la personally because i love the thrill of preparing for a debate
and working with my team. You guys are such good friends.

Thanks for accepting my invite into this competition. =)

Well, our first round topic was 'To Meet the Challenges of the Future, this house would make Religious Education Compulsory'

We felt confident as we step foot on the government's side. But unfortunately, we were not prepared enough in delivering our speech and I couldn't catch the oppossition, SMK Sri Cempaka's stand against us failing to rebut them.

I was the 3rd Speaker, did well in POI-ing but failed to deliver. We all failed to deliver as our speeches were too wordy.

Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves when we were all together at my place, preparing for the debate and watching Good Charlotte the night of the debate.

Thanks so much Mrs. Jancie for all the time and hardwork put into this debate. Without you, I wonder how we would be able to manage ourselves.

2. Reflecting back on they way i spent my time studying,

tutoring helped alot and being tutored helped too.

Those times mean more than results!

3. Knowing that there are support out there,

Knowing that there is still hope next year,

Am working hard to strive and acheive a better learning method

( not results )

I believe that it ain't results that matter the most,

It's the method u used to acheive those results

In other words, times spent learning with others is 100 X more meaningful

Moon Cake Festival 2006

Whoah! It’s finally over *tears of joy* =D

First and foremost, I would like to thank the Chinese Society for helping us, for their full support and efforts. Especially, MS FOH for the best suggestion and guidance throughout this project.

this project started since the day i went to penang for the st. anne's feast.. suddenly the idea of having a moon cake festival come forth, and thus my major fund-raising and school service project for the year ^^'

Through these past few months, I learnt a lot especially about myself

I learnt:

- How to deal with irritating and annoying people who will just drive you up the wall

- How to irritate them back =P and make them feel the same way

- How to cook myself in a stuffy room for 3 long hours with these monkeys

- How to ignore the ranking of a person (sounds bad but yeah, just had to) because their ideas are just plain stupid

- How to argue your way through just to get things straight

- How to be patient and explain a million times to get a simple message like this is the layout of the security ~.~ , imagine me in every meeting for the past 2 months

- how to explain in so many creative ideas just to get the message thru
from drawing diagrams to using my voice level, the degree of loudness etc. etc.

ok that was actually all negative things that i learnt =D,
now for the positive side

I learnt:

- That my LEO Members are a bunch of committed members, sometimes over-committed too. =) Thank you so much to those who massaged me, destressed me in times of trouble, those who followed me around during the final week before the project no matter how troublesome it was. Thank you guys! You know who you are =)

- How to ignore irritating people, learning to accept that they just wont listen to you no matter how hard you plead or beg

- I learnt that they aren’t the only one in the world and that others may also be capable of doing what they can do

- That some things just won’t go your way and I learnt how to twist and turn and yet reach my destination

- That some people just love to poke negative comments for the fact of bringing you down, maybe out of jealousy perhaps?

- how to deal with stress! i finally managed it =)

- To appreciate my poor little stomach when it starts howling and grumbling, I did not have a proper evening meal and no dinner at all during the event and had no supper and breakfast after that. By the time lunch came, gastric came forth and thus my stomach thought me a lesson * wonders how to survive the coming 30-hour famine camp *

- What it felt like to have gastric

- to stick up for yourself, to be stubborn *yes it does help * and stick to ideas that you already planned and thought of the consequences to it

- To appreciate God more, thanked Him so much that the weather was awesome that night. He was always there during times that I needed endurance.
* especially during meetings, …. get my drift? =D *

- to appreciate my parents more, I finally understand that it’s not through verbal that they support me, but it’s through their actions that they do
* will not elaborate any further due to sensitive issues * =P

Date: 24th - 26th August 06
Venue : Orchard Hill Lodge, Bukit Tinggi

-> Day 1 <-

0800 - Me went to Lau - Ren - Zhia's House to tumpang her car, then later we picked Ruth at Church and we headed off to Subang !

0830 - Arrived at Subang and saw a few people gathering there already, heard that WO Seki and Benji was waiting there since 0730 hours. LOLz!

0930 - Bus arrived and we stuffed our belongings into it. Went off to Bkt Tinggi! Everyone was filled with excitement, not knowing what the two nights and three days would bring us.

From now, i donno the time.. Lolz =)

Arrival & Briefing

We were all like WHOA! it looks like such a nice place, only thing bad is that we had to walk like 10 minutes just to get to that place while carrying our "light" lugagges. Firstly, we unloaded our bags at the top floor, then had some technical errors in communication and we all pindah our bags down again ~.~"

- + The Hall + -

Sgt Wei Zheng gathered everyone at the worship hall, and my my it was such a nice hall! Drum sets , a piano and ping pong tables awaited us. Sgt gave his briefing and told us all the rules. Wasn't it obvious that Boys cant go near Girls dorm and vice versa? heh

Lunch Time =D

Food at last! To fill our tummies, I think we were served rice with normal lauk-pauks. After being stuffed we proceeded to Ice Breakers.

Ice Breakers!!

Cprl Josef conducted the ice breakers. We gathered at the upper deck where they had this TV which no one watched during the entire camp for reasons unknown. First game was the Octopus game where we tangle our hands up. Now, this time with a slight twist which was to remember all our group members birthdates! I was in Sgt's group where we stumbled to free ourselves from that tanglement >.< lot =")">

Swimming Time!!!!!!

After the ice breakers, we all RUSHED to the pool, literally that is. Everyone started toying with the diving platform especially Jimmy.. I was startled at the height at first but what the heck? You won't die right? Well, Wo Ther Kua thought otherwise =) [Explanation on 2nd Day] I jumped! Lolz. Then everyone started pushing those sitting near the poolside off. We then made Dana and Ruth to jump too. Dana was very very reluctant. and in the end. i think someone pushed her of the "cliff" or either she jumped. Luckily, she din take that much of a time than WO Ther Qua .. =D

Yummie Time

Dinner was up next, after swimming for a few hours, everyone was HUNGRY! shown by the fact that food was ALMOST .. hehe almost only, to finish. We were given this SPICY and i really MEAN SPICY! sotong goreng. Everyone was crying, literally.. i was! Lolz sweated like a man person.. Dinner was better than lunch definitely

Time to Praise the Lord

Worship was lead by WO Seki, Cprl Benji and Pte Jon Ng. It was a nice worship. I stoned next to Jon, helpin him in any way i could cause he din know the chords to Yang Terutama.

If i am not mistaken, it was supper after this, we were given biscuits and we made either MiLo / Nescafe to quench our thirst.

OPEN TALK

This is by far one of the best things that happened during the camp, something new to me that i will implement in my prefect camp. Everyone was supposed to comment on somebody / something / speak in general about the company. Many interesting topics flew past namely :

1. Ruth's topic on Samong
I think everyone would remember this one. Ruth told Samong that he was CUTE! get that! that's all that I'm going to touch on this post =), due to reasons that cannot be told =D

2. Rachel cried when she was accepted into BB
Yes! the truth is out, Rachel almost fell into tears when she knew she was accepted into the Junior section!! You see, how much one's passion in BB may bring. The reason behind this was because she was not accepted the first time. So guys! Think twice whenever you feel like you're slacking in BB ! Remember RACHEL! Lolz

3. My Topics! =)

i. Talent

I first started my cheung-heiness by touching on talent. I told everyone there what is the reason behind BB becoming BORING. Due to the fact that everyone is not serving in areas that they are talented in. Imagine if, everyone starts serving, even if it was just plain playing the piano or just helping another in drill? Wouldn't our company prosper in a short term? our company will progress. but the question is : How Fast?

I also brought up the fact that once youre good at something, why not bring it to a higher level . Picture This : a 5kg block of iron worths only USD10 . Once it is moulded into a horseshoe it is worth now for USD50. Once made into 1000 needles is is worth USD100. Adapted from Uncle KC's sermon. You see, our talent is just like that! For example, if youre good at piano, why not teach someon who dont even know where is C on the piano, to learn piano? that's for first, then u go on to coaching others, from that level, you begin to start to worship lead and lead others to serve God.

Another example, would be drill. if you're good at it. why not change other's perception on Drill, those that hate drill, why not teach them and finally I'm VERY sure that they WILL enjoy drill once and for all. These kinda things do make a BIG difference if everyone starts doing that in our company ya know?

ii. Puppy Love

Lol, this is a funny topic which i thought of.. PUPPY LOVE, as you guys frmo BB2SJ know, our company is FILLED with it especially ni the younger generation. I tried warning everyone that what is the point of getting into a relationship if you dont know where it's heading to? A relationship needs commitment, hell lots of it and your maturity. If not I guarantee! It will end up in a broken relationship where hearts would be broken for weeks and friendships lost. WHAT's THE POINT?

Well, i'm not saying it's all that bad, it is a good feeling to fall in love, but yeah, guys and girls pls do KNOW your LIMITs. when i touched on this topic i could see that some people in the crowd "felt" something or should i say "terasa", no names mentioned. I got thumbs up from Seki for mentioning this =)

iii. Advancement of Christ's Kingdom

Lastly, i spoke on the actual meaning of BB, what's the point of us bragging about our BAND? or DRIL? or even our singing competitions and trophies, after all it's just a piece of plastic, as said by Benji. What is the REAL object of BB? it is stated in the very first line. The advancement of Christ's Kingdom!

We, constantly forget all about it, therefore i urged everyone to start bringing in non-christian members to BB bcuz i am definite taht our current company members had heard about the good news. Invite them and let the Holy Spirit do the work. Remember our soul duty for Christ!

Let us not be a company who brags abour our physical achievements. But let it be because of our spritual achievements. Let us tell others how many came to know Christ through BB, not how many people who know how to play the Trumpet / Drums through BB. I'm definite that this is God's wish for us BB members. After all, trophies are just PLASTIC!

Well, that concludes my thoughts. Just my two cents..

WO Seki summarised all that we said and then we sang the vesper as it was already around 12 am. I didn't wanna sleep so early at first, therefore we had a tutoring session with the PMR students, Those who passed PMR helped around. But in the end, at 2am the lights went out =.='

My Parents are just..

I dunno, I think i'm becoming more like the kid in I Not Stupid Too, (the rich kid) whose parents don't understand him.. the situation I'm in now, it's just going on from worse to worst.

It's more of as if I don't get the support I want from them, sorry la but this post going to be abit the emo, well, I'm feeling very frustrated and this sad sobz is in me right now. In my current teen life, I'm holding two major posts and I'm involved in a lot of stuff. Namely, Prefects - Asst. Head, Leo - Secretary, Boys Brigade - Member, Church - Worship Team and I love to go for outings that I can gain at least some knowledge.

But what support do I get from my parents? I dunno maybe I just don't feel the support IF they are giving me any at all. When I do something that I'm really committed in, I just go all out to acheive what I want? Ok, maybe I neglect some stuff in the process.. But WHY can't they (my parents) understand about my commitment? Why can't they think of it in my shoes? A typical teenager going through the toughest challenge in life - CHANGE.

They say I'm getting over-committed, for example, today I am having an Impromptu Speech Test for my Communications Badge but at the freaking same time I have to attend my great grandma's bday in Malacca just to give "face", that Impromptu Test will gain me 5% if I perform. And as you guys know already, I go all out to do something that I want. So my dad came today to pick me up early to go to Malaccca, I told him that my Test haven't end, he insisted on going and going, but what's the point? We're already ending up getting there late, why can't wait just for another 5 minutes more? He still insisted, I had to give in in order to not cause an arguement between me and him, oh boy, you do not wanna hear me argue.

Thankfully, my officer agreed to allow me to take the impromptu next week. The sacrifice I had to make to go to a stupid bday party, leaving a bad impression of myself on my officer and not being able to learn from my fellow classmates mistakes. I dunno how that would cost me next week.

A few weeks ago, I challenged my dad saying that " What IF I want to be a pastor? ", the next 5 days, on and on about he went about pastoring being a bad thing, low salary, waste of talent and loads more of crap. At the end of the 5 days, I told him that I just wanted to see his reaction. Wanted to see whether his heart has changed to finally accept the fact that I would go all out to ignite the flame in me to serve the one and only God. When can he finally understand? I dunno, maybe the way I approached him is wrong.. All i need now is advice.. I need some guidance.. Been waiting so long for something to happen, but oh well, his heart is still a heart of stone. Dear God, please help me... oh and btw, dad's a free thinker

Now I'm off to Malacca to show my "face" there, please pray for me that I can bear with my parents, I dunno how long i can stand with them, without their support, I dunno what I can do now, but thankfully I have my true Father's support, up there in heaven. Please pray that my parents too finally change and experience my shoes. Thanks for reading this emo post of mine and please advice me... =(

Today, Darul, one of my good friends took me and Alex out to Sushi King for lunch.. such a kind person, kinda belanja-ed us around RM150 for the meal =) here's my first and simple food review....

Salmon Steak : Wow! The set meal that I ate was yummy!! The salmon is absolutely fresh with that grilled sensation.. They serve it with a bowl of rice, steamed egg which has mushroom stuffing in that cup on the far left, yakult! xD and Miso Soup.. omg the soup was horrible! talk about mixed taste, there was bitter, sour and sweet all added into one bowl of catastrophe.. eww

Tempura Snack Plate : Crunch, crunch.. green peas, prawns, golden mushrooms and brinjal fried with tempura flour.. dipped into one kind of sauce, a must have!

Ebi : Prawns skin peeled off, dipped into that sauce there.. couldn't really feel the taste of the prawns

A never ending realm of Guilt...

Dammit! I'm just feeling sooo emotionally drained today. I disappointed my very own pet brother, badly. Din manage to say my last goodbye to my best kindy teacher. What else? A super idiotic re-election of BOD meeting that basically screwed my mood for the day. How's that for a recipe of Guilt?

And now to add 1000 teaspoon of SALT to the already salted meal. I greatly feel like stabbing myself. The feeling of guilt just overpowers me. What can I do? Saying sorry don't mean a thing. So what if he forgives me if I can't forgive my very ownself of this day. This just sucks, being in the wrong, Guilt Guilt Guilt!

Fortunately, there's something to be happy about. My beloved Teacher Molly Fu which I lovingly call Ms. Fu, is now in heaven, praising God! Let me just share abit about her here, she's been a teacher, or shall i say a guide towards the light, the light of salvation. For without her laying the foundation of faith in me, I guess i'll never be writing this post, forever in search of the truth of life.

Ms. Molly Fu, an angel of salvation at Jack & Jill Kindergarden, off Jln Gasing, has been faithfully serving over the past 37 years! She started teaching at the age of 20+. Even with all the financial constraints and better job offers, she never gave up hope in this ministry. She chose the right path and over the 37 years she has impacted soooooo many lives, lives that would be lost without her guidance during those "important years".

Personally, Ms. Fu wasn't just my teacher only, she was also my second mother. Even after 7 years, she still remembers me clearly. As from what I heard from her friends and the testimony shared, she fondly remembers the names of her students, students which she deeply treasures and love. One quality that teachers today are losing. She would even go the extra mile by visiting those who can't catch up in school, those who are sick too.

Her sudden death caused by the lack of oxygen entering ther arteries in her heart, caused her her last breathe. Now with her gone, all those sweet memories, memories which i will treasure forever had even caused me to hallucinate by imagining her with me, right beside me, comforting me, and even walking that road that she once took to give tuition to my neighbour. Oh, those memories.. *I almost cried*

During her final hours, guess what she was doing? She was preparing herself to go to school. You know where school is for her? roughly 30/20km away. She moved to Ampang Jaya for I dunno how many years already just to look after her sister's kids. The love for children was the one that moved her on to do all this. The Love for God too. Every morning without fail, she would get up as early as 5.30am to get herself ready to go for school. Coming all the way to Petaling Jaya just to teach the little children. She surely is an angel sent from heaven.

Her last weeks was filled with pain and suffering, she overworked herself and ended up losing alot of weight which resulted in a worser health condition. And I still did not counted in the fact that she is diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetis which she secretly hidden throughout the years from her family and friends. Her compassionate heart which did not want to burden ANYONE, was the one that made everyone cry during her wake service last night.

Aunt Molly passed away in her toilet, on the morning of 12 June with a Bible held in her hands. We are all sure that she's in heaven now with God as she had already faithfully completed her duty as a messenger of Christ. Even with her early departure, I'm comforted to know that I'll soon see her in heaven. The thought of that really comforts me, which reminds me of her special voice which i still can remember till this very day. Nowonder people say that teachers are the greatest people in Life.

A final word to Ms. Fu, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE TOWARDS THE UPBRINGING OF LITTLE ME. I hope you'll know this, i mean I Know for sure that you know this too. The wake service really made me shed my tears, seeing all her students coming to pay their last respects touched me. As Pastr. Isaak Yim asked all the students to just rise. I could feeel her presence there. *cries*.

I would like to end this lengthy testimony from me with this sentence wrote by her niece to Ms. Fu :

-I'm so happy that you are now in heaven, rejoicing with the Lord as certainly he has taken you away as He needs you to teach all the little angels in heaven-

And now, a little confession that I would like to make:

Kenneth Hiew, at 1.05 AM would tearfully apologize to Ms. Fu for not greeting her during the final weeks.

But another even sadder case would be this:

I'm So SORRY KA KIT!

Thank you for forgiving me, but I'll never forget this day, I'll never forgive myself of what I've done. Those very few words u said, really pierce through my heart. True to what people say, Words give a more painful death than bloodshed. Those last sentences you said, "thank you for everything you've done", really felt as if a thousand knives went through my body.

I know that I've greatly disappointed you, even saying sorry would not help as I know I've failed. Failed as a brother, moreover being the BIGGER brother that's supposed to think wiser, act wiser and not FAIL. Guess I just qualified for all the above stated.

I've never felt this guilty before in my entire life. Not even yelling at my mom last time, THIS is just so depressing to be thought about. I guess I won't be sleeping tonight. I know what I shall do, think over my actions and reminisce of the old days with Ms. Fu.

I'll understand and not blame you if you wouldn't want to talk to me anymore, or come over to my house this Friday. Thank you for giving me all these joy, the happiness that I've once lost and you've gained it back for me. The reason of me being a brother to you was because I wanted to be like you, always smiling, always filled with joy. And now as I'm slowly developing those wonderful traits from you, BUT I guess I just destroyed myself again, I made you feel so disappointed on ME and just so sad. I'll miss you alot..

I guess, Kenneth Hiew has died today, 14/06/06.

I not stupid too is a comedy keenly centred on the theme of increasingly difficult relationships

between parents and their children today, due to a lack of communication.

More than often, parents THINK they understand their children, based on the reasonings of the I-gave-birth-to-you-so-I-know. But do they really? A child is most vulnerable at teen years, which is without doubt the most crucial period in the development of the child. A single wrong move by the parents can result in a lifetime of regrets. How well aware are the parents of this fact?

Everyone and i mean EVERYONE should watch this movie.. one of the best i've seen.. honestly, it really kind of relates to my life.. maybe every teenager's life
kudos to Jack Neo for highlighting an important plot running throughout, and it's the strong message to parents that they must always remember they bear primary responsiblity on the upbringing of their children.

He seemed to hit the nail on the head in the portrayal of the current family climate, that neglect and the lack of communication are prevailing, which much be stemmed.
moral of the story : appreciation is always much lacking in our society, amongst family members, colleagues and even friends.

btw, the gangsters in the movie are real. Jack Neo went to find them and when Jack Neo praised them for acting good, one of them truly cried as he said it has been a long time since someone praised him. that why jack neo took it as theme of this film

Often, we think that us children are right in whatever we do. We neglect our parents opinions, turn a deaf ear on them and make no use of what they say.

We stand up to what we believe, but.....have you consider what your parents stand up to what THEY believe?

We think that what we do is always right, .........your parents must have thought so too when they were young, but i can tell you, they REGRET now for what they thought back then.

We often want others to change especially your parents, ...... but have you tought of changing YOURSELF first?

We feel embarassed when our parents are within a 50m range of us especially when we are hanging out with our friends, but have find out why they do that?

You think that you're always right, yes it is true, but have you cared of what WE feel is right?

Thank you for showering your care and concern for us, we know that when you question us on our peers, schools, and such you are trying to care for us.. but have you thought of how hard we try to fit in to our peers or at school.

The world we live in now is really what i think is a test of God, how we choose our paths and how we walk our paths. But one things for sure, the give & take concept,
we as children must try our very best to 'click' with our parents, likewise for our parents to do the same.

Children, think of our parent's daily struggles, how hard your dad tries to earn his money, how hard your mom tries to cope with the load of housework at home. How much stress they have to cope because of US. When you're reading this message, the electricity bill + the internet bill they would have to pay for what we use? We take all these things for granted, wait till you become a parent, but why wait?

I know of my very good friend, who's mom had been diagnosed with cancer for a very long time, and she had just passed away a few days ago. This boy, I hope that he'll not lose faith and continue to live for his mom, for I know he will. He's always sticks to his mom, and I'm really praying that through this, his family would come together as one. No longer 2 parts : Daughter to father, Son to mother.

So people, bear the message in mind, appreciate your parents while you still can, for we'll never know what lies tomorrow...

haih.. i am experiencing what Julian had to choose few weeks back.. currently in a mental state of distress bcuz i lose in Taylor's debate to SMK Subang Utama cause of 1.5 points!!! Sooo geram! shouldn't have know of the difference in points !! #$!@#$!#$!@#$ lol .. back to my dilemma. six things to choose from on one day alone.. 22nd April!

1. skipping BB ( that would be twice in a row liao T.T )

2. HELP college debate workshop ( i really wanna go for this badly)

3. scrabble tournament ( my team wants me badly in it)

4. Hari Bestari ( getting my PMR cert)

5. Leo Idol Finals ( wanna go see how good they are and support my fren)

6. LA SALLE Regionals Convention (i'll learn alot of stuff here at its at Genting + Free of charge)

my heart says go for either two things.. Scrabble / La Salle Regionals.... scrabbble leh cuz theres a fair chance of winning together wif my teammates.. Regionals is sumting like a 3 day camp where all the La Sallian schools in Selangor meet together.. i now im going to have fun there cuz ALL of my friends are going plus that would be where im going to learn how to organize my incoming prefect camp >.<

For the past weekend, i wuz just spending my time like nuts eventho im going to have a music theory exam on monday. Heritage camp wuz nice..for the fact that my didi wuz there, i think that wuz why i actually went... haha.... learnt alot in terms of the speakers and organizing the camp..maybe one day. i might be the one doing it... the one thing that i cant forget wuz the last night..me n ka kit jus went to the field, sat at the bench and chatted for 1/2 hour? shouldve come for the water balloon fight.. grrr... if it wuzin for bb... well if i went.. sure wet from head to toe.. me as their main target >.<

CU rally wuz definitely fun.. but one thing lor..din really get what the speaker, Pastor Michael frm DUMC said cuz he jumped from one thing to another... Veron and her crew did a magnificent job in organizing it with the theme G.R.O.W JC - Getting Right On With Jesus Christ.. i loved the worship and the performances were okay... especially the last song.. "I've got a savior in me. WHOA! i wanna know .. i wanna know u today".. . Sounds familar? Itz What the World Will Never Take by Hillsong United... and i just loved the refreshment they served CREAM PUFFS!!! cold summore.. i wonder how veron did it w/o even charging anything to the guests.. FOC wei.. guessed they did a good job in sponsorship...

One word summorizes my whole week and the week to come.. STRESS... trying to manage it but there are so many times where i felt that i could burst out at anytime. piano exam this monday... bb camp nex friday... going camping on monday n tuesday... mayb going for this weekend's heritage camp and that leaves me to 3+ days to study for my freaking monthly exam after the holidays which i know that i would do badly....with everything crashing up during the holidays that im supposed to enjoy.. this would definitely be the worst holiday yet...unless i jus dun give a crap bout the incoming exams... just praying everyday and giving my trust to the Lord as i know he'll guide my through these trying times.

and guess what... i got called to the so-called MD cuz i din sign that stupid attendance book which im supposed to sign when i reach school everyday.. omg and if u come late ure fined RM1.. swt to the prefect board wei... cant they come up with another punishment!! after voicing out i hope that Krishna, my head prefect would do at least SUMTHING about it!!

Pet Abuse Awareness Week

The pictures of the first day of my project which was the officiating ceremony on the 20th of February, wierdly the date in the pictures show the 19th. I organized this project to aware students and teachers about the actions that the government impose to offenders that show an inhumane act of cruelty to animals. For example, there was this case where 13 dogs were neglected for a few months and the owner was only charged RM200 for inflicting serious damage to the dogs physical and mental being. He should be charged RM200 X 13.

Therefore, through this project I would also be focusing on the signing of the petition which will be brought forward to the government in September this year and to date, I have already collected over the my target which is 500 signatures and now my new aim is 1000 signatures. So, i encourage every reader of my blog to help SPCA do something for these creatures that we call man's best friend and to these friends that cannot even speak and fend for themselves. Ms. Rubini, the emcee for the day and also the one that supported me whole-heartedly throughout the entire project.

I looks soo ugly in this photo. me trying to throw questions at the the students but ended up being embarassed cuz only 3 students came up out of the 6 questions i threw at them.

My first ever project organised by myself...well the opening ceremony wuz today......reached schoool...hung the banner in a terrible state of darkness... prepared refreshments..running here and there......then get scolding from the teacher in charge of assembly ... cuz i din inform him...omg la..no one told me that im supposed to inform him >.<

during the opening ceremony....i made this mechanism where u pull the string from the bottom and the banner will be shown.....but ya...the string snapped when Lion Ivan pulled it..lol so ganas wei.. my bad too cuz i din tie properly =p embarassment >.<

well and my teeth still hurts!!! dunno why....but when i went to de dentist to pull out 2 teeth for the braces that im going to put on .. yes u heard it.. braces >.< >.<

Today, wuz debate day....after skipping classes for 3 days in a row....finally the much "anticipated" wait has arrived....leaving school at 7.30AM felt like the most not wanted thing to do this morning.........reaching SMK Tmn Petaling wuz a total nerve wreck..............but what has to be done has to be done regardless we win or not......this year would be a preparation year for next year's round of debate.......not mentioning the next one which is the Taylor's Debate..........well....we got the opposition, luckily............i wanted to sleep in the quarantine room wei......so exhausted already.............went on stage..got pawned then come down.. haha

sonuljit, my 1st speaker......gave an extremely good opening speech..........then the debate continued..den it reached my turn...started off...feeling rather nervous....hope my appearance wuzin that obvious...........i din prepare cue cards that day.....so i kept on flicking the pages.. scrambling to find for points to rebut the opponent's speech as i wuz the 3rd speaker..........stumbled a few times...but my team said that i wuz good cuz i clarified my points......anywayz...now itz the time for reply speech and guess wat... my 1st speaker left his notes in his bag >.<><>

First Day- go to kepong ... lost all my coins there...i think got RM5 lidat

2nd Day - balik kampung.....so so so so so hot there.....the nite we went to my

then go back to grandparents's house play gin rummy....won RM20 ^^

3rd Day - go to a funfair near my grandparent's house.....played this game where ure supposed to throw a ring into a wooden block..and every diff block therez a diff prize...i bought 2 token which costed RM4....played it... the first ring i shoot...entered!! got a camera~~.. and the nex 11 rings all miss ><>

Few Days Later - go to cuzin's hse...play mahjong...won their money..not alot but yeah...won la ^^

Yesterday (Sat) - go to fren[yong ming] open hse......play blackjack i be chongker....win every1 money....wkakaka..i think no one won...only me...last round oso get 21....and every1 play RM2++ hehe..in the end from RM5 become Rm52.. ^^ sry ya to the ppl that play against me =)

So my guess is....the horse year should never oppose the goat year....hehe got 3 ppl horse year in the blackjack game..lost all their money.....and the boy goat is very lucky this year!!!

Thailand Trip
I went to Thailand on 1 - 6 of November last year....together wif my cuzin frm Australia, Alicia and her cuzin, Brendan and 50 other ppl which were my dad's colleagues. had to go to pudu bus station......waited for the bus that will take us to Thailand. the trip wuz okay....got the back seat which wuz the most spacious seating......we left around night time......took a night bus......then reach there early in the morning....i think i only got 1 hour sleep and the trip wuz very fast..surprisingly....when we reached the Immigration Department at Bkt Kayu Hitam....din noe that there were actually soldiers wif rifles standing guard there...the first hotel we stayed in wuz at hat yai, New Season hotel...that hotel wuz good lo as it wuz onli 8 months old...but then leh...no hair dryer wan....dunno why...den went scouting around the area ....loads of traders selling fake stuff.......cheap but design sucked till the max....the price of the stuff in the shopping mall wuz the same price in malaysia after all the exchange rate crap...so weird seeing Harry Potter posted in Thai...bought a pair of jeans that costed Rm30...dad said it wuz too expensive woh since no brand...dunno why i bought it....we stayed at hat yai for a night....then the next morning we tried to look for a "famous" duck mee stall but we couldnt find it...ended up eating duck mee at a less famous stall.....it wuz funny seeing a diff shaped mee and.....i tell u...the kueh tiau there are soooo big and fat....absolutely not like the ones in malaysia...........oh yeah......the traders at the dry market there selling shirts and shoes.....really plead u to buy their stuff.....they held on to my dad's bag pleading to buy a Rm11 shirt.....dad din like the design... so we pulled the bag till she let go....guess business is really deteriorating at Thailand......keep on raining.........less tourists oso....

2nd Day -
took another bus to the ferry port in the morning.......this time we sat in a van cuz the bus couldnt fit all of us......sitting next to hin seng.....it wuz so funny watching him fall asleep then rocking here and there without him waking up...nex thing u noe....his head falls on my shoulders lolz.....did not dare to wake him up.....after the ride...got a terrible pain in my shoulders ...haha.........took the ferry there......b4 going on the ferry.....i saw a statue of buddha up high in the mountains..it wuz so nice......but then leh......i took a crappy photo wif my cuzin alicia...which wuz sooo ugly... T.T... [will not post here ] lemme talk abit bout my cuzin here..........she came here to msia a few days b4 going to thailand.....shocked me.....cuz i did not noe that she wuz school captain twice...once in primary and another in high school...!......well shez shorter than me tho [no offense yeah] =p unlike her sister which is way taller than me..........currently finished high school......got her results adi.....which wuzin that good cuz of the science subjects dat scaled her down..(did i get that right? =p) ....during the ferry ride...it started pouring and pouring.....we played cards together wif alicia and brendan and his brother...played big 2 and cheat.......alicia kept on winning at big 2.......i kept on losing at it =).......

after reaching there..had to take another van ride to the hotel......the island we went onto wuz ko samui...it kept on pouring and pouring...my dad said that the last time he went here it wuzin like dat..probably cuz of the tsunami that changed the earth's plate or sumthing......halfway thru de ride......the bus couldnt kept going cuz all the shops opened their awning'z at the front of their shop which haulted the bus's movements..............soo we went to the hotel first [Weekender Resort ] which din look too nice......waited for the van that went back to the bus to make multiple trips to ferry the rest of our group to the hotel......that time...it wuz still raining....zzz...........after checking in...we went around the hotel area to see what wuz there.....over there the clothes were more exp but the design wuz way nicer...i saw this quicksilver board pants that would cost me 400 bahts ( RM40) but i din buy it...regretting it now... T. T ...we ate pig'z feet for dinner if im not mistaken wif rice and the friggin spicy tom yam soup...the meal wuz delicous as i din tried pig's feet b4....sounds kinda gross but yeah........veli fattening tho...we wanted to watch the thai boxing at 9pm...but then the friggin weather deterred us...it started raining again.....went to a clothes shop to wait for the rain to stop........when the rain wuz pouring we saw a few of our group members....not wearing shoes.....walking on the road....dam fun wei...wif the mini flood on the road.......den i saw the most saddening sight ive ever seen in my entire life.........a small girl around 3/4 years old selling white flowers [ i think itz the jasmine buds in necklace form] during the heaviest rain i could ever imagined......i wanted to buy flowers from her...i should have..but she wuz on the other side of the road..she kept on looking at wif her puppy eyes....seriously....she kept on looking back at us...couldve easily broken down in tears with the sight of her hands tryin to get customers.......sigh........nownder they say thailand iznt that developed..but then leh...the 2004 world scrabble champion came from thailand...after that...we started walking...i tell u those women there dam freaking cheap wei...i wonder why those boys would wanna change their sex to become females.....eventho they nid money to survive...wouldnt it be going against GOd....cuz were like changing the appearance that He wanted us to be.......back the topic...the girls there at the open air bar....were merely wearin bikini's and doing those cheap pole dances to attract customers...i wuz like laughing my ass off and sayin WTF in my mind at the same time....i reli reli reli pity the ppl there... T.T after that ...went back to the room then we watched a scary ghost show b4 going out again to the bar.....this time together wif uncle frankie (frm aus) and a couple of my dad's fren.....went wif my frenz too....this time leh...we saw the first she-male women wearing those stupid feathery clothing tryin to get customers at a bar...fortunately we din enter that one......on the way there i saw a Mc Donalds there....the figure of Mr. Mc D wuz funny looking as it wuz puttin itz hands together the Thai style instead of de normal siitting on a chair style in msia....went on walking a good 50 m b4 the adults entered the bar....it wuz kinda boring watching those cheap women there.....so i played snooker wif hin seng.......then we left...fortunately we left.....cuz after we left....i saw frm the pictures my dad took.....the women there started taking off their bra'z.........another WTF ! luckily the pictures my dad took were censored in a way.........on de way back...i saw another eye opener thingy...prostitutes! calling customers up to their 1st floor rooms from their window sill....dam wei...ill neva wanna live in thai........then went back..played sum card games..and SLEEP!

First Day of Boys Brigade
As i have noticed...dis year seemed to have lots of firsts.....joinin bb.......learning new subjects.......diff classroom..etc etc......anywayz...today joined 2nd subang boys brigade......itz nice....as 1/4 of the company there noe me......drillz and briefing were todays agenda....oh ...i got selected as the recruits's group leader ^.^ aiming for the best recruit award..so this might just hep me..... haha.......drills are mostly the same wif scouts...only the timing and the words in the command are a bit different............liutenant loh showed us the video of the cambodia's trip...there wuz this picture of paddy fields...and guess wat....y izit fertile? cuz it used to be a war place...soo yeah... all the dead people there fertilized the land there...and there was this museum wif all the war photos...they had this photo wif skulls stacking and i really mean stacking on top of another roughly around 500 skulls on a BOOKSHELF... >.<........lucky i wuznt born to cambodia.......end of year hoping will be able to make it to the trip to mount kk ...haf to finish my target badge first.........will be posting more of bb next week

Finally! Moral class is interesting...!
Anyone who knows Mrs. Bhawani Premnath sure say that she RULEZ!!!! She makes moral class so interesting that you'll never fall asleep nor talk to your frenz.......she wuz teachin us Kepercayaan Kepada Tuhan( Believing in God) n Amanah (Being Trustworthy)......the first virtue tells us about taking care bout animals even the "low" coakraches......then guessed wat...she started telling us a story..that she oso wuzin a saint.......behind her house...therez this monsoon drain.....u noe those big big sewage drains........everytime therez rain .....she would see big big black plastic bags(rubbish) floating on it ...itz like ships floating on the sea it seems......then she told us that she caught a rat in her house...she didnt noe wat to do........she caught it using gum?! i dunno how the in world she did that but...yeah.....the rat wuz on the gum....she called the exterminator....they say that they dont kill rats...they only help to kill them..dunno why in the world are they called "exterminators".....she asked for advice...then they say....the best way is to pour hot water on the rat........she still didnt dare to pour it over the rat.......so as it wuz raining.....she just put the rat in a plastic bag.......and.............threw it into the monsoon drain...and.... SHEZ TEACHING US MORAL....lolx.......LOVE UR ANIMALS EVEN Coakraches... lolx
